Puppet Tool

Created by taking still photos from the WWF archive and using the puppet tool in After Effects. Puppet Tool was introduced in CS4, it's essentially key points you can set on an image to move/distort the image. This is a great representation of how useful this tool can be.

A phantom camera filming at 1200 frames per second captures a sprinting cheetah zooming by reaching top speeds of 60+ miles per hour. Alluring footage of every muscle movement on this beautiful beast. Check out all the production that went into this footage at the end credits.

Even though this is a very well green screen composite a few elements always give away the green screen look and makes it look unnatural. First, the acting, I know these guys are musicians and not actors, but it looks bad when they're walking through a blizzard with no real facial expressions. Next, I usually like added 3D particles, but it wasn't really well executed in this video. Particles are key element to blending the object to the background, very important. Having said all that, it's always fun to see making of videos, well done!!
